FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The new moniker represents a year of program development, training, and the clinical integration of MBH’s time-tested methods and proven Meadows Model
[DALLAS, TEXAS – July 27, 2020] Meadows Behavioral Healthcare announced today that it is renaming its Dallas-area inpatient treatment facility The Meadows Texas. Formerly known as Serenity View Recovery Center, this change is about much more than branding. The new name represents training, program development, and the clinical integration of MBH’s time-tested methods and proven Meadows Model of trauma-informed care.Over the past year, all clinicians at The Meadows Texas completed Post-Induction Therapy (PIT) training in the Meadows Model. The program also benefits from MBH features like the Meadows educational lecture series, Meadows executive management on-site regularly, clinical oversight by Meadows Senior Fellows, and neurofeedback through our innovative Brain Center — the same features found at all of our Meadows inpatient facilities.
“This name change is the cumulation of nearly a year of extensive work and staff training to ensure the treatment services offered at The Meadows Texas match the commitment to quality that The Meadows has become known for over the last 40 years,” said Sean Walsh, CEO of Meadows Behavioral Healthcare.
Located outside of Dallas, The Meadows Texas provides alcohol and drug treatment with an average 30-day length of stay. A proud member of The Meadows family, the facility is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, MultiPlan, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare|Optum and other providers, making it possible for many patients to use insurance to cover treatment costs.
