Why Meadows Behavioral Healthcare?

PATIENT-FOCUSED

At MBH, we explore the underlying issues and understand the specific needs of patients struggling with addiction, unresolved trauma, and mental health issues. We know that even though some people may suffer from the same concerns, they each have their own unique story. That’s why we don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach to treatment, instead creating an individualized treatment plan based on each patient’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs to help them achieve lasting recovery.

Patient focused
Trusted Professionals

TRUSTED BY PROFESSIONALS

Many of the individuals who seek treatment at a Meadows Behavioral Healthcare program are already in the care of one or more trusted medical professionals, and we understand our role as stewards of your patient. Our treatment programs were designed by experts in their respective fields and represents decades of treatment experience. We can work with you to ensure your patient’s specific needs are met, keep you informed of progress, and, once treatment is completed, return your patient to your continued care.

FAMILY HEALING

We understand the challenges of a hurting loved one, that’s why we go the extra mile to include families in the treatment process. Most of our programs include a Family Week designed to provide information and understanding through psychoeducation and activities specifically designed to address the effects of the patient’s issues on their loved ones. Family members also get support to explore family dynamics, recognize dysfunctional patterns, and focus on developing a supportive environment for patients once they return home.

Family Healing

The MBH Difference

What sets us apart? Whether you’re seeking treatment for addiction, trauma, mental health issues, an eating disorder, sex addiction, love addiction, or something else, our holistic approach to healing focuses on the whole person, including the underlying issues that impact an individual’s well-being. A range of methods from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Somatic Experiencing (SE) to neurofeedback, equine therapy, and mindfulness meditation make for a well-rounded, research-supported program like no other. We also employ cutting-edge techniques like neurofeedback in our Brain Center, and then there are our Senior Fellows, some of the nation’s top addiction and recovery experts. They provide ongoing direction, consultation, and training for our staff to ensure that The Meadows Model is the most clinically comprehensive and nurturing approach to treatment available today.

About Us

Our Commitment
to Patient Care

The MBH executive team, led by CEO Sean Walsh, understands a program’s effectiveness lies in its staff’s interactions with each and every client. “Many of our staff have experienced some of the issues that our patients are going through, and they understand and can identify with their concerns,” Walsh explains. “This adds to the atmosphere of acceptance and respect patients feel when they arrive and during their entire stay with us.”
