The Meadows Alumni Association Launches MBH Onward App

Graduates of Meadows Behavioral Healthcare treatment programs now have round-the-clock access to community, connection, and resources

[PHOENIX, AZ March 5, 2021] Meadows Behavioral Healthcare, the leader in trauma, addiction, eating disorders, and co-occurring disorder treatment for more than four decades, is expanding its alumni services and celebrating with a new name. The Meadows Alumni Association is now MBH Onward! With the tagline “Rise Above It,” the new moniker symbolizes the momentum of the recovery journey and the inspiration and encouragement found in community. This growth is also marked by the launch of the new MBH Onward app, available on both iOS and Android devices.

The Meadows Alumni Association currently serves more than 8,000 active alumni with more joining their ranks everyday as they celebrate their recovery and seek out community and support for the journey head. And as the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused national addiction and relapse rates to skyrocket, access to resources and connection is more important than ever. The MBH Onward app puts those resources at the fingertips of alumni 24-7, wherever they are in the world.

Highlights of the app include daily inspiration and practical tips, structure and accountability through daily prompts that encourage regular check-ins, original MBH content like articles and podcasts, and a trigger warning setting that can alert MBH Onward staff if someone posts a message that indicates they’re in need of immediate help.

The new MBH Onward app lets you have all the resources you need at your fingertips,” explains Aleah Johnson, Director of Alumni Outreach and Development. “And the timing couldn’t be better. We’ve all been isolated, and this is a great new way to engage with other alumni in your area and around the world.”
